Summary Explanation/Background:

Invitation to Bid (ITB) P-35-21 was issued to establish a contract for Lighting at Weavers Community Park.  Bid award is recommended to the single bidder that was also a responsive and responsible bidder, Davco Electrical Contractors Corporation., at a cost of $267,055.00.  The General Services Department performed outreach to local companies to inform them about this project.  A total of ten (10) local companies were notified.  This ITB was assigned a 10% Local Business participation goal. Davco Electrical Contractors Corporation has committed to meeting that goal. City Commission approval of this award is requested.
