Summary Explanation/Background:

This is a first amendment agreement with Pompano Beach Riptide Softball, Inc. to provide a female youth softball program for female youth ages 8-18 at the athletic fields in Community Park.  The Original Agreement (Exhibit A” is being extended for one (1) additional one-year period, ending January 27, 2023.  The other amendment to the agreement is adding Article 7 Responsibilities of Licensee pertaining to employment eligibility.

 

Origin of request for this action: Parks and Recreation Staff

Fiscal impact and source of funding: Licensee to provide 10% of the revenue for each non-resident participant on a semi-annual basis.
