Summary Explanation/Background:
The Utilities Department received a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) in 2018 to fund the upgrade of four existing drinking water interconnects. City Commission approved the original grant through resolution number 2018-80 that was passed and adopted on February 13, 2018. Amendment number one was completed on March 31, 2020 and is associated with resolution number 2020-157. Amendment number two was completed on March 26, 2021 and is associated with resolution number 2021-117. This request is for the approval of amendment number three which simply updates the project completion date to 08/31/2023 in an effort to provide adequate time for project completion.
