Summary Explanation/Background:
Bay Drive neighborhood was identified in the City’s Stormwater Master Plan as requiring stormwater improvements and the design has been completed by our consultant, Keith and associates. It was also approved for Penny for Transportation (Surtax) funding by the Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
Please find attached Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between City and Broward County that was executed by the Mayor and City Manager which requires Commission approval and ratification. The ILA is necessary to receive Surtax funding in the amount of $1,174,741.00 to assist funding the proposed construction services.
Following ILA execution by County, City will go before Commission with bid award recommendation/construction contract for the solicitation that is currently posted.
