Summary Explanation/Background:
As part of FPL’s Storm Secure program, they have identified an area in close proximity to Exchange Club Park that has a history of outages (see attached project map). FPL is proposing, at their cost, to underground these overhead lines however, in order to do so they have requested an easement from City to install a ground mounted transformer. The proposed easement is within Exchange Club Park on City property.
